Divine Justification

Because of Jesus and what He has done for us through the cross, we have a reason to rejoice as we walk in this world each day. Before recieving salvation, we were discribed with words like:

Lost, Sinful, Enemies of God, Evil doers, Corrupters, Unclean, Condemned, and Guilty.

But after we ask Jesus to come into our hearts and He sends His Holy Spirit to live inside us, we are then described as:

Reborn, Saved, Free, Clean, Saints of God, Children of God, Redeemed, and Justified.

The Bible says in 2 Cor. 5:17, "Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new".

That means I don’t walk like I use to walk.
Meaning I do not go to the places I use to go to that are not pleasing to God.

I don’t talk like I used to talk.
I use to not be so careful about my speach but now I care about what I say because I want my words to pleasing God.

I don’t listen to the things I use to listen to.
I now realize that it does not please God. It's not pleasing to God that we allow things to fill our eyes and ears and expose ourselves to things that God despises. It will also bring sorrow and despair if do not get away from them.

I’m a new creation, friends. Things matter because, "Hallelujah!" I am a Child of the King. I’m no longer guilty. I am now justified in the eyes of Amighty God. Thank you Jesus!!

For the next few weeks I would like to discuss the 5 results of justification spoken of in Romans 5:1-11.
Which are:
1. The justified believer has peace with God (5:1)
2. The justified believer has access to God (5:2)
3. The justified believer has assurance from God (5:3-4)
4. The justified believer is indwelt by God (5:5)
5. The justified believer is preserved in God (5:6-11)

Join me each week, and let us rejoice together as justified believers.

In Christ,
Benjy
